AMALTEA General Assembly in Córdoba: Reviewing Progress and Preparing the Next Project Phase

The AMALTEA consortium gathered in Córdoba, Spain, on 23–24 June 2026 for its latest General Assembly, hosted by ROVIMATICA. The two-day meeting brought project partners together to review technical progress, discuss the upcoming reporting activities and coordinate the next steps across the project.

The meeting opened with a welcome from ROVIMATICA, followed by an overview of the project roadmap for the previous six months and a dedicated session on technical and financial reporting. This provided the consortium with the opportunity to take stock of the work completed so far and align on the preparation of the first periodic report.

A major part of the first day was dedicated to reviewing progress across the different technical areas of the project. Partners presented the latest developments, highlighted key achievements and ongoing activities, and discussed priorities for the next implementation period. The discussions also created space to address interdependencies between different activities and identify areas where closer coordination will be particularly important in the coming months.

The agenda also included a visit to the ROVIMATICA facilities, giving consortium partners the opportunity to gain further insight into the company’s expertise, infrastructure and contribution to AMALTEA. The first day concluded with a guided visit of Córdoba followed by a working dinner, providing an informal setting for continued exchange among project partners.

Welcoming the Open Call Beneficiaries and Looking Ahead

The second day placed a strong focus on the companies selected through the AMALTEA Open Call. Ten companies joined the session to present their projects and the challenges they will address within the AMALTEA framework. The presentations covered the different challenge areas and provided the consortium with an opportunity to become familiar with the solutions, technologies and approaches that the selected companies will bring into the project.

Representatives from SEAMLEXITY LLC, Odin Solutions, DIFFERENTIAL, Metrology, iKnowHow, Eurodao, Robosintesi, ENVOLV AI, Space Mobility and I3 Robotics presented their planned activities and discussed how their work will contribute to the broader objectives of AMALTEA. The session marked an important step in integrating the Open Call beneficiaries into the project ecosystem and preparing for the next phase of experimentation and implementation.

The General Assembly continued with further updates on the project’s technical activities, including initial work related to the demonstration buildings and other ongoing developments. The meeting concluded with a final session dedicated to the periodic report, upcoming milestones and the next steps for the consortium.

The Córdoba General Assembly provided an important opportunity to consolidate progress across the project, strengthen coordination between partners and connect the core consortium with the Open Call beneficiaries. With the first reporting period approaching completion, the meeting also helped ensure that all partners are aligned on the priorities and activities that will shape the next phase of AMALTEA.
