European Convergence Summit (ECS) 2025

The second “European Convergence Summit” (ECS) will take place on 9 April in Brussels at the Concert Noble. The principle of this ADRA-e CSA-funded event, for the ADR partners, is to identify how AI, robotics, and big data combined can provide assistance in addressing socio-economic issues of interest to Europe, its citizens and its economy.

After a successful first edition of the ECS in 2024, which was devoted to reducing CO2 emissions and the 2050 targets set by the EC, the theme for 2025 focuses on resilience in case of crisis.

About the ECS

The ECS is a one-day in-person event bringing together all of those interested in European public policies. The expected outcome of this day is a consensus among the specialists present on the directions of research in AI, robotics and big data innovation for Europe.

The ECS should allow for cross-sectional views from, among others, representatives of industry, research and innovation, civil society, legal, ethical, regulatory and public policy experts. The message developed at the end of the ECS should create a set of aims to emerge on the acceptable directions for research and innovation in AI, robotics and big data. It would be a matter of defining a point of view which will then be taken up by the ADR partnership.
